Is Ember free to start?
Yes. Every new account gets 14 days free with everything unlocked, then keeps a free plan — no credit card required. When you’re ready, Pro is $99.99 a year for the Breakdown, the maps, deer scoring, and up to 3 emergency contacts (the safety chain itself is free), or a Club plan covers your whole camp. Members you invite to a club join at no extra cost.
Which phones does Ember run on?
iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Plans are purchased in-app through either store and unlock Ember everywhere you sign in.
Does Ember work without cell service?
Partly. Before you leave the truck, Pro (the free trial counts) lets you download satellite imagery of your property on the phone apps; your zones and markers come with it, and markers you drop without signal send when you reconnect. Topo, roads, the other map layers and the Breakdown need a connection. If you lose signal during a check-in, the overdue alert fires the moment your phone reconnects.
