01Acceptance of terms
Ember is a hunting intelligence platform operated by Graylight, LLC ("Graylight," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Ember platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Please also review our Privacy Policy.
02Description of service
Ember provides a hunting intelligence platform that includes AI-powered stand scoring, check-in safety tools, group coordination features, and related services. The Service is designed to enhance the hunting experience through technology and community features.
03User accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information during registration
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
04Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Distribute harmful, offensive, or misleading content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any illegal hunting activities
05Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Graylight, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
06User content
6.1 Your content
You may submit content including hunt logs, journal entries, photos, scores, location data, and group information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant Graylight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process it for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any third-party rights.
6.2 Content standards
User Content must not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Include graphic violence, hate speech, or content that promotes illegal activity
6.3 Objectionable content and zero tolerance
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on the Service. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, content that is harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or that depicts or promotes violence against people, cruelty to animals, or illegal activity.
We review every report of objectionable content or abusive behavior and act on it within 24 hours of receiving the report. Action may include removing the content, suspending the user who submitted it, or permanently ejecting that user from the Service.

6.4 Content removal
We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice. We may also suspend or terminate the account of any user who submits objectionable content or engages in abusive behavior, in accordance with Section 10.
07Safety disclaimer
The Ember platform provides tools and information intended to enhance hunting safety and coordination. However, Ember does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any safety-related features, including but not limited to check-in systems, location tracking, and AI-generated recommendations.
Users are solely responsible for their own safety while hunting. The Service is not a substitute for proper safety training, equipment, and judgment. Always follow local hunting regulations and safety guidelines.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Graylight, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
09Modifications to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
